Comments:

BAKERS Delight in Woodvale was judged the best in the country last month, beating 574 other stores around Australia.

Bakery owner Cheryl Anderson said the team of bakers at the store worked very hard to get everything right for the competition.

“We spent more time and care on the products to be judged and had discussions with the baking team on how it could be improved on the competition day,” she said.

“On the day of the competition, we put the most experienced team members on that were best for the product.

“The bakers took pride and were very excited to let all the sales staff and customers know of the achievement the following day.”
